Company History
Wildwood was originally founded as a lumber wholesaler and remanufacturer in 1982. In 1989 the company decided to expand its reach into the transportation industry. It began an exciting new chapter in the company's history with the purchase of one model 379 Peterbilt highway tractor. In 1999, the company decided to focus exclusively on the trucking division and exited its other forestry businesses. Since then, Wildwood Transport has grown to become a leading provider of specialized transportation services, employing more than 50 drivers, owner operators, and other industry professionals. In addition, we have developed an extensive network of local trusted specialized carriers that gives us access to an additional 500 power units. We now have the ability to service customers of any size.
